New customers should follow the instructions provided to complete MailRoom's installation.

If you are an existing customer upgrading to a newer release of MailRoom, you should install MailRoom in the same directory as previously (the default is C:\MAILROOM).  Your existing configuration settings and messages will remain intact.  

You will be asked if you want to install a MailRoom icon on your desktop.

If you are upgrading to a newer version of the same MailRoom product already in use, you will probably wish to click on "no" as you should already have the appropriate MailRoom icon installed previously.
