Driving Directions
from the San Francisco Area (~3 1/2 hours)
1. Take 101 south from the San Francisco. Continue through to San Luis Obispo county, a 3 hour drive with no traffic.
2. Exit 101 on Highway 46 West just past Paso Robles. (You will go by a Highway 46 East exit just a few miles previous to the west exit.)
3. Go west until highway 46 ends where it hits Highway 1, about 20 minutes. Turn south (left) on Highway 1 and proceed to Cayucos, about 12 miles.
4. Just before Cayucos, Highway 1 changes to a four-lane road. Just after the change, you will see the first Cayucos exit to the right. It is labeled Cayucos and Route 1 Business. Take this exit, following the road as it winds along the ocean.
5. The first right turn is about 300 yards and is Lucerne Road. Turn right here and proceed to 637 Lucerne.
