| How to Get to Carol and Les' house in Cayucos |
Driving Directions
from the Los Angeles Area (~3 1/2 hours)
1. Take 101 north from Los Angeles through Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and in to San Luis Obispo (about 3 hours from West Los Angeles with no traffic).
2. Exit on Highway 1 North in San Luis Obispo; exit is marked Highway 1 (Morro Bay and Hearst Castle). Go past Morro Bay to Cayucos. (It is about 20 minutes from the Highway 1 exit in San Luis Obispo to Cayucos.)
3. There are three Cayucos exits off Highway 1. Go by all three exits. (The third exit you go by will be called Cayucos Drive, Beach Area.)
4. On the left, after the third exit, you'll see an exit called North Ocean Avenue. Take this exit, following the road as it winds along the ocean.
5. The first right turn is about 300 yards and is Lucerne Road. Turn right here and proceed to 637 Lucerne.
